Living and working in Whistler was the best thing I have ever done with my life. I left for America a couple of years ago with the intention of ‘maybe’ going to Whistler. After some good advice and speaking to some Aussies who had ’been there and done that’ I arrived by myself and I must admit I was slightly scared but as soon as my Greyhound bus dropped me off in the Village I knew I had made the right decision.

I enjoyed two ski seasons and 1.5 summers and whether you arrive in winter or summer - it is no doubt the most happening village in BC. I had never snowboarded before and by the time I left I was doing black diamond runs! I also tried a bit of mountain biking in Summer - not my cup of tea but the atmosphere and scenery (eg the mountain bike boys!!) was well worth it.

 If anyone out there is thinking about going - do it!!! Do it now - you will meet so many amazing people and I have without a doubt made some friends that will be with me for life.

Life is too short - go play in Whistler.

Laura was such a great travel agent for me, she pretty much organised everything for me! from flights to travel insurance…. she could offer amazing deals for accomadation and ski passes so i pretty much didnt have to think about planning my trip at all. Then a funny thing happened whilst i was away, i lost my passport and missed my flight. I straight away txt laura and she was on top of it straght away… I was told by the airlines they couldnt get me home till a month after i was expected home… i was shocked and scared of loosing my job. But laura came to the rescue and called sydney’s office, who contacted taiwan and they got me on a flight within two days!!!!
