Just a heads up that the 2010 Olympics is right around the corner and you need to be very aware that housing and jobs may be hard to come by.

We are also having some feedback from our local sources that employment has been harder to get then usual due to the current economic situation and sadly because of a bad snow season - a lot of Aussies were let go early then usual this season.

 Go in with an open mind and plenty of money in your pocket just in case. We suggest you have a back up plan and try and line up interviews before you arrive. Use sources such as the Pique News Magazine www.piquenewsmagazine.com or the official Whistler website www.whistlerblackcomb.com or the Chamber of Commerce www.whistlerchamberofcommerce.com to find out what’s going on in Whistler as far as news, jobs 2010 opportunities.

An exciting summer position has come up with Wedge Rafting Whistler. If you thrive in a fast paced and demanding environment and can work with a very busy, long standing adventure company based in Whistler then this could be the job for you.
